1. Make a List and Check it Twice

Sit down. Breath. Brain dump. Then look again. Access the list and prioritize. Just getting it all down on paper will make your load so much lighter. Get it out of your head and onto an actionable list. Junior legal pads are great for brain dumping and prioritizing.

2. Make Time for Yourself

Whether going out for coffee alone, taking a bubble bath or going for a quiet walk. Time for yourself is always important but especially during this time of year when time with family, gift buying and holiday events can get to be overwhelming.

3. Make a Gift Wrapping Station

A gift wrapping station does not have to be elaborate. It can be in a bin that you pull out that has all of your supplies, a shelf in a closet or it could be a rolling cart. No matter what, or where it is, it will take away a lot of stress to have everything for wrapping in one place.

4. Make Ahead

Make ahead some easy meals or at least prep somethings to make meals easier. Eating out can become a habit, especially this time of year.  Not only will your wallet thank you in January but you will feel so much better throughout the season.

5. Make Time to Purge

Purging is a good goal for the new year but why not start now? Whether it is toys, clothes or kitchen appliances you no longer need. Just little acts of purging during the Christmas season will move you into the new year in the right direction.
