Utensils are tools of the kitchen, organize your tools so you can get to cooking. -HT

1. Empty the Whole Drawer

Emptying the drawer is the most important step. Give the drawer good wipe down to refresh and make it feel like new.

2. Sort Your Utensils

Sort all the items into categories. Sorting them by size can be helpful when it comes to putting them back in your drawer.

3. Decide How Many of Each You Need

Look through all of your items and decide how many of each item you need. For example, I have two spatulas that are different sizes and serve different purposes. Make sure what you decide to keep makes since for your life.

4. Donate

Donate to any thrift store, find a family in need or a college student. Gently used items are great!

5. Assess

Evaluate what you have. Does anything need to be replaced? You don’t have to replace everything all at once. Make a list and replace little by little if you want to upgrade some items or plan on investing in some organizers.
