Pantry organization ideas? Yes, please!! Cause when the pantry flows better, life just flows better.
Here are a few of my favorite pantries and ideas for a pantry refresh this summer – from a $0 mindset change to buying some new bins. If you’re ready for an outside perspective and a total refresh, give me a call!
In the meantime, sit back, relax, and enjoy a few pantry organization tips.
PANTRY ORGANIZATION IDEA #1
Mix in some glassware or a pretty container! Not everything belongs in a fancy jar, but when it does, why not? I love the way that the mix of jars and textures gives this pantry something extra.
On the project below, our client had installed these floating shelves before we came over. She asked us, “How do I put my tea up here?”
She drinks tea all the time and that’s part of her wellness routine.
So we picked all the jars and the labels so she can quickly and easily get to those things every single day. The result is visually pleasing and PRACTICAL!
We used these small and medium jars from Target. The cute lil’ jars we used go in and out of stock from Amazon. Here’s another similar option!
PANTRY ORGANIZATION IDEA #2
When the U.O.L. team organizes a pantry, we almost ALWAYS touch the kitchen, too.
Do you have a hard-to-reach kitchen cabinet where you could store those appliances you don’t use every day? Try moving appliances to a cabinet or piece of furniture a bit out of the way from your pantry. Possibly those tiiiiiippy top cabinets, like we did in this lake house pantry!
Then, you have room for more snacks in the pantry!!
PANTRY ORGANIZATION IDEA #3
Get creative with storing your produce!
If you’re gonna store it on the countertop, check out these berry bowls from Hollowed Earth pottery (they’re local to Greenville!) or use one of these pretty wire bins from Target’s Magnolia line or follow The Nester’s advice and “shop your home” for something pretty or practical that you already have!
If you have wall space in your pantry or kitchen, you could hang your produce in market bags like these from Amazon. Or consider cabinet space (again!).
The milk crates in my kitchen have served me well for EIGHT YEARS. It was just like one of those things that came together… one was in our backyard when we moved in and I cleaned it up! The other one I got at the antique store. Maybe one day I’ll install drawers but for now they are still holding up!!
And ABOVE ALL practice contentment before creativity in your pantry. Give yourself a moment to step back and truly appreciate the pantry you DO have. Then, the solutions can flow from there.
